We spotted this place while walking through the centre of Dublin, located just opposite the City Hall.
The liveliness of the café was a good sign of how popular this place was, but don’t be scared off by this. If there is no space in the restaurant there is a second branch just round the corner.
The food was delicious and perfect for a quick lunch. I had a grilled aubergine sandwich (€8) dressed with vinegar for flavour, with houmous and feta too. This combination worked so well I will definitely be making this sandwich at home.
You could also add the soup of the day to the sandwich for an extra €2.
Other items on the menu include potato cakes, a breakfast frittata and cakes too.
