If you’re visiting Thorpe Park or Alton Towers, I recommend a stop by the Nitrogenie store for some ice cream.
The store uses liquid nitrogen to freeze the ingredients into ice cream. The results are an ice cream thick in texture and slow to melt. It reminded me of the Turkish ice cream “Dondurma” (if you ever get a chance to try Turkish ice cream that’s also a must).
I had the chocolate crunch honeycomb for £4.50 a small pot. The other options were just as elaborate in their combination of flavours.
Given the novelty factor and great taste, I’m surprised there aren’t more stores around!
